Warrior Service Freedom Dogs

When combat veterans reenter society, they are often given only a partial paycheck and medication to help cope with the last effects of trauma. It’s possible that over 40% of all living veterans struggle with PTSD (2.5 million have the diagnosis). These veterans have a 60% divorce rate and there is an average of 22 veteran suicides a day.

Warrior Freedom Service Dog (WSFD) s is a 501c3 non-profit organization intensely focused on providing a service dog to combat veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). Service dogs are uniquely capable of ameliorating the effects of PTSD. They can reduce our heart rate, blood pressure, and heart rate variability. WFSD trains dogs professionally and integrates the veterans in the process. ...

Wreaths Across America

Honoring veterans and active-duty service people was a way of life growing up and something that continues today. With rare exception, all the men in LaShon McGinnis’ family served in the military and many in Josh’s family. McGinnis Team donates a wreath to the Chattanooga National Cemetery for every loan closed for the current year. It’s our way of honoring and remembering those who’ve sought to preserve our freedom.
